Travel and photography have always been constant pleasures and passions for as long as I could hold a camera and afford to buy my own train tickets, alongside a love and fascination of people and cultures…

My working life began as a volunteer Youth Worker from before I could pay tax and then employed in various areas and undertaking a range of projects from the age of 18. More recently I changed working with young people to managing bars and working with alcohol fuelled adults, most of my skills were easily transferred to this new arena.

Make every day better than your last, and make memories worth remembering.

I have also had a whole range of jobs in between returning from travelling, or to help fund my next adventure, some of these include turning my hand to laying tarmac, night shifts in a postal depot, nude modelling (we all need to make money somehow), and more recently I have become a chef and manager of a ski chalet in the French Alps. I have always said that I would try anything twice, once for the experience and second to see if I enjoy it.

Sending and receiving mail, in any form, has always be been such a fulfilling past time of mine, from postcards to lengthy letters to parcels of wonderment. I am also been very bad at letting people know where I am going, or what I am doing next, jumping on the next plane, train or automobile and chasing the next new adventure. I am fortunate to have some amazing and understanding friends that have put up with my sporadic, impulsive adventures and contact through the years. Which brings me to this site, somewhere I can share my journeys, my thoughts, my random encounters with such fascinating people that I meet along the way, with all the friends I already have and the ones I’ve yet to meet.
